Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neuro Diagnostics - $1,894 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with trauma experience for a night shift position at a Level 2 trauma center with a Level 3 NICU serving an infant-to-geriatric patient population.
Details
- Level 2 trauma center that is also interventional stroke certified and home to a Level 3 NICU that serves as a regional transport resource
- Primarily adult RRT with exposure to pediatric intubated patients; patient population spans infants to geriatrics
- Performs non-invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, arterial line placement, oxygen management, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and capillary blood gases
- EMR: Epic (experience required); additional systems include Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, and Viasys Avea
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Trauma experience required
- Active GA RRT License required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALSP
- Pulmonary function testing (spirometry) experience preferred

Additional Information
- Slate gray scrubs required
- Candidates must be available to work all major holidays that fall within their assignment period; holiday RTO requests are not permitted if one or two major holidays occur during the assignment — if three major holidays occur, one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval
- Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- No scheduling changes or alternate shift requests are permitted — the listed night shift is firm
- RTO dates must be finalized and submitted upfront, in accordance with the holiday RTO policy
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
