Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,245 per week

About the role

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a hospital setting. The position involves providing adult and pediatric respiratory care in various inpatient units including ICU, ER, L&D, Medsurg, Psych, recovery room, and sleep lab. The role requires extensive vent management, assisting with intubations, and participation in codes and rapid responses, with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult and pediatric respiratory care in ICU, ER, L&D, Medsurg, Psych, recovery room, and sleep lab
• Perform extensive ventilator management
• Assist with intubations
• Participate in codes and rapid responses
• Draw and read arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Assist with bronchoscopies
• Participate in emergency responses
• May be required to float to other units as needed

Requirements

• Valid respiratory therapist license (to submit)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current RRT certification (National Board for Respiratory Care)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with extensive ventilator management in ICU settings
• Experience in adult and pediatric respiratory care

Schedule

Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week; assignment runs from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
