About the Role

ProLink Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fairfield, Ohio. The position is for an Allied Health Professional specializing in Respiratory Therapy, with a start date as soon as possible.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
• First 3 shifts are orientation
• One winter holiday and one summer holiday per year
• Work every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday) on a six-week schedule; missed weekends must be made up

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple units: ED, ICU, CVU, PCU, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Observational Unit, and PACU on a rotating basis
• Assignments vary daily based on patient volume
• Respond to Codes and Rapid Responses
• Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and perform EKGs
• Operate and manage equipment including: 980 vents, V60 BiPAP/CPAP, Cough Assist, Chest Vest, Metaneb, Volara, Airvo, and handheld devices

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Proficiency with EPIC and general computer systems
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist License
