Job Summary
The respiratory therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients, including ventilatory support, airway management, and patient education. Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid respiratory therapist license in New Jersey
- Completion of relevant certifications (such as BLS and ACLS)
- Minimum of zero years of experience
- Location in the vicinity of Rochelle Park, New Jersey
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pediatric respiratory care
- Familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment skills
Additional Information
The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients, administer treatments, operate ventilatory equipment, perform airway management including suctioning and tracheostomy care, monitor patient responses, and assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. The role also includes performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to guideline standards and documenting all treatments and patient responses accurately.
