Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,022 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in McMinnville, Oregon. The position involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. The right candidate should have at least one year of recent acute‑care experience and will provide direct patient care across a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments per procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
• Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care experience (2 years preferred per NBRC requirement)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• PALS and NRP may be required depending on assignment area
• NBRC credential (RRT)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Physical demands

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
