Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) to work in a respiratory unit located in St. Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing respiratory care to adult critical care and trauma patients within a high-volume, busy emergency department environment.
Job Details
- Location: St. Louis, Missouri
- Schedule: Nights, 3x12, 1830 - 0700, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RRT license with the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- 1 year of experience in adult critical care and trauma settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation
Additional Information
- The respiratory unit serves adult patients throughout various hospital areas, including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units.
- Pediatric patients are stabilized in the emergency department and transported to a sister hospital.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
