Travel Physical Therapist - $1,839 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a 12-week travel contract in a hospital-based Physical Therapy department in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Physical Therapy department
• Provide care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Treat patients with a variety of conditions requiring physical therapy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Document patient care and treatment sessions accurately
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Must have worked in the specialty within the last 6 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Qualifications

• Certified Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to physical therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
