Responsibilities

• Assist patients with breathing difficulties related to conditions such as asthma, emphysema, chronic respiratory diseases, or emergency trauma.
• Perform diagnostic tests as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop a treatment plan.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Experience working with patients experiencing breathing difficulties.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in cardiopulmonary diagnostics and treatments.
