Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
• 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association required)
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment
• Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment

Responsibilities

Duties will include but are not limited to respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by the application of the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given. May respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Contract Details

• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts (AM shifts available)

Pay

$1,505 - $1,674 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation; tax-free stipend amount to be determined). Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
