Travel Registered Nurse (West Regional Float Pool)

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care and treatment plans under supervision of Charge Nurse
• Administer medications, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation in SOAP format and review medical records
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and infection control protocols
• Travel full-time to different healthcare facilities as staffing needs require

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• One (1) or more years clinic experience preferred
• Willing and able to travel 100% of the time
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the states of practice and the state in which you work, or a valid compact state nurse license
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Multi-state license or willing to get licensed in other states if needed
• Current Wellpath employee in good standing OR an external candidate with at least one year recent corrections experience
• Variable shifts - depending on the needs of the site that week
• Travel on Wednesday, then working 12-hour shifts Thursday - Tuesday, return home on Wednesday with the next six days off
• Travel time and travel arrangements paid, meals reimbursed up to max with receipt

Schedule

Shifts are variable - depending on the needs of the site that week. Travel is on Wednesday, then working 12-hour shifts Thursday - Tuesday, return home on Wednesday with the next six days off.
