Travel Registered Nurse Supervisor Job

Responsibilities

• Schedule, lead, and coordinate the daily activities of a defined unit on the assigned shift
• Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care and regulatory compliance
• Serve as a resource, role model, mentor, and change agent for the department
• Direct and supervise a team of nurses and support staff
• Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, policies, and accepted nursing protocols
• Care for patients as appropriate under the scope of practice
• Coordinate services with other patient care units to ensure patient flow
• Aid the Department Manager in achieving unit and organizational goals

Requirements

• Demonstrated supervisory experience on a nursing unit or equivalent leadership role
• Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and unit policies and procedures
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills
