Overview

Registered Nurse – House Supervisor is available for a travel temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility in Geneva, New York. The start date is August 18, 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 22–26 weeks through the holiday period. Weekly pay ranges from $2,036 to $2,137 per week. There are no guaranteed hours. The shift is evenings, with a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm schedule and requires every other weekend and holiday coverage. This role reports to the Director of Nursing (LTC) and focuses on clinical leadership and unit-wide supervision across nursing shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of nursing units during the assigned shift, providing clinical supervision to staff as assigned
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate Nursing Department activities in accordance with policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
  • Ensure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on the shift; monitor for safety and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager about identified and potential unit problems; collaborate to resolve issues
  • Contact the Director of Nursing on off-hours for critical issues requiring resolution; ensure appropriate hand-off communication for other items

Requirements

  • Active NYS RN licensure
  • BLS Certification (through American Heart Association or Resuscitation Quality Improvement program)
  • Minimum of one (1) year LTC experience and previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to work the stated evenings shift and to cover every other weekend and holidays
