Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Stepdown Intermediate Care

About the role

This unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments. The care that we deliver is dynamic! Our care includes but is not limited to: Chemotherapy Hospice Radiation Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T Radioactive Iodine Symptom Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical conditions of patients
• Prescribe medication as necessary
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments
• Provide symptom management
• Care for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit

Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Acceptable ACLS certification

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
