Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job

Registered Nurse – MICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 10/05/2026 for a 13‑week engagement.

Pay

• Weekly pay range: $1,773–$1,848
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour nights, 12x3 schedule
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Setting

Hospital Medical ICU / COVID ICU using Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, continuous nursing care for critically ill adults in the MICU/COVID ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support as indicated.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, titrate vasoactive infusions, and monitor for adverse effects.
• Perform focused patient assessments, interpret monitors and labs, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Document care, assessments, and interventions in the Cerner EMR; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to ensure patient safety, quality care, and readiness for transfer or escalation of care.
• Adhere to infection control practices, safety standards, and unit holiday scheduling requirements as applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the MICU or equivalent critical care setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Cerner EMR experience on a critical care unit is preferred.
• Ability to work a 12‑hour night shift and 12x3 schedule.
• Must be able to meet unit expectations regarding holiday coverage and high‑acuity care.
