Travel Registered Nurse MICU Job

Registered Nurse, MICU position in Philadelphia, PA for a 13‑week travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 under a Local Contract (Nursing) program. Inpatient ICU/MICU hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care to adult MICU patients, delivering comprehensive assessments and interventions
• Monitor ventilatory status and hemodynamics; manage vasoactive medications and other complex therapies per protocol
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and update care plans, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
• Manage invasive lines and devices (arterial/central lines) with strict adherence to infection control, safety, and documentation standards
• Document care activities and updates in the electronic medical record; communicate changes promptly to the care team and physicians
• Collaborate with families and the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort, safety, and timely transition of care when appropriate

Requirements

• Current, active RN license to practice in the United States (state not specified)
• BSN degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU/MICU or equivalent high‑acuity experience
• Ability to work 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shifts; 3x12‑hour shifts
• Must be willing/able to work every other weekend (EOW) and participate in a 13‑week assignment under the Local Contract program

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,231 – $2,415 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12‑hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Every other weekend required. Contract duration: 13 weeks.
