Overview Registered Nurse – MICU in Fort Bragg, California. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 10/12/2026 in a critical access hospital setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,177–$2,318 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts Start date: 10/12/2026 Setting: Critical Access Hospital ICU in Fort Bragg, CA Responsibilities Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an assigned ICU patient population using the nursing process Monitor and manage hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and complex clinical scenarios; administer medications and therapies as ordered Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to optimize outcomes Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and update care plans as patient status evolves Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and safety initiatives to ensure continuity of care Supervise and coordinate tasks for assigned nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate Requirements Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license in the state of practice (California); Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS or ARC-ALS Experience: At least two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience; critical care experience required Education: BSN preferred Special qualifications: EPIC EHR experience; ability to thrive in a high-acuity ICU setting Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week assignment duration Travel assignment support and dedicated recruiter assistance Credentialing and onboarding assistance EPIC EHR experience support and training as needed Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
