Overview

Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week contract, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12-hour night schedule (every other weekend). Weekly pay ranges from $1,829 to $1,921.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under supervision, assisting staff nurses in treatment and care per established hospital methods
Maintain patient status, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document responses
Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient education while maintaining patient safety and comfort
Document vitals, changes in condition, and care plans; communicate effectively with the care team
Respond to patient and family needs with a patient- and family-centered approach; participate in rounds and care planning
Uphold infection control practices and safety protocols; escalate concerns to the charge nurse or physician as appropriate

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
BLS (American Heart Association) certification
2+ years of RN experience in Long-Term Care (LTC)
Ability to work in a hospital setting and on a 3x12 night rotation
MI LTC fingerprinting documentation is a noted selling point; candidates with fingerprinting or ability to complete it promptly are preferred
