Travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in an LTAC setting located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date is August 11, 2026, for an eight-week assignment.
Pay
Weekly pay range: $882–$931.
Guaranteed hours: 0.
Schedule
Shift: 3×12-hour nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for LTAC patients, including vital signs monitoring, administration of medications, IV therapy as ordered, wound care, and other duties within scope.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, document findings in the medical record, and promptly report significant changes to the care team.
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; implement plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and pharmacy guidelines; ensure safety, infection control, and patient privacy.
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and case managers to support rehabilitation goals, discharge planning, and family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to regulatory requirements, and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in New Mexico (or valid multi-state licensure).
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- LTAC or acute care experience recommended; travel nursing experience a plus.
- Ability to work nights on a 3×12-hour shift schedule; flexibility to adapt as needed.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary LTAC environment.
