Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, GYN, and newborns
Monitor labor, fetal status, administer medications, assist with cesarean deliveries and obstetric procedures; support postpartum recovery
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal team; educate patients and families; document care in EPIC/Stork EMR
Float to cover staffing needs as required; uphold patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation
Respond to obstetric emergencies and participate in handoffs to oncoming staff
Requirements
Active New York RN license with Nursys verification
Ability to verify all RN licenses
4–5 years of labor and delivery nursing experience; travel experience required
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
EMR experience with EPIC and Stork; proficient documentation and charting
Ability to float to L&D and related units as needed; strong teamwork and communication
RTO (Requested Time Off)
RTO must be included at time of submission
Driver’s License
Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
