Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Overview

A registered nurse position in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is available in Liberal, Kansas, United States. The assignment is a travel/temporary role starting July 27, 2026, for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,366–$2,376 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.). This is supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in Labor and Delivery with postpartum, couplet care, newborn nursery, and OBGYN post-op patients
• Monitor laboring patients, assess maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with deliveries, and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with obstetric and neonatal teams; manage fetal monitoring, chart accurately, and support newborn safety and newborn care as needed
• Deliver patient and family education, support lactation needs, and prepare patients for discharge with appropriate instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold sterile technique and infection control standards

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 3 years RN experience; L&D experience preferred
• Must have completed at least 2 prior travel contracts; no first-time travelers
• Must be at least 45 miles from the facility
• On-site drug screen required; background check (DS) required for compliance
