Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Overview

Registered Nurse – L&D in Crookston, MN, starts 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Eligible weekly pay ranges from $2,489 to $2,600. Shift is 3x12-hour days (07:00–19:00). The assignment involves Labor and Delivery with Med Surg Float coverage in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients in Labor and Delivery, with Med Surg float coverage as needed
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, manage pain relief, and respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, document outcomes, and maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, nurses, and support staff to coordinate care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal units
• Float to Med Surg units when assigned, delivering skilled care to medical-surgical patients as required
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and postpartum/self-care considerations

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-appropriate)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Preferred: experience in a Critical Access Facility
• Ability to float to Med-Surg units as needed
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
