Responsibilities
Provide obstetric nursing care for laboring patients, including monitoring maternal status and fetal well-being
Interpret fetal heart monitoring and respond to non-reassuring tracings in collaboration with the obstetric team
Assist with labor, delivery, cesarean births as needed, and provide postpartum care and education to patients and families
Administer medications, manage IVs, analgesia, and obstetric protocols per physician orders
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and uphold sterile technique and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Education: ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred
- Licensure: Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of perinatal RN experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP); Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM); STABLE Program – STABLE Learner (STABLE)
- Preferences: EPIC experience preferred; Spanish language skills preferred
