Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Overview
Travel LDRP RN in Polson, Montana, United States. Expected start date: 07/27/2026 for a weeks-duration assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,000–$2,086 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital with 22 staffed beds and a very small unit census, charting in Epic.
Responsibilities
- Manage labor and delivery, triage obstetrical patients, postpartum and newborn care
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and provide circulator support for cesarean deliveries
- Initiate IV access and assist with postpartum hemorrhage management; monitor fetal status with wireless monitoring
- Document care in Epic; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response)
- Float between OB areas as needed, with no cross-patient assignments outside obstetrics; support newborn care
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit protocols
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana or a Compact state at time of submission
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, CLC
- Minimum 3+ years of recent L&D/LDRP experience (must include L&D, triage, postpartum); travel RN experience preferred
- Epic charting experience
- On-call availability; ability to float within OB units as needed
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
