Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs) and monitor fetal status
• Serve as the second nurse at deliveries and help manage overflow patients
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
• Maintain accurate documentation, uphold patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements

• Labor-trained Registered Nurse
• Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric unit
• Proficiency in maternal and newborn monitoring, triage procedures, and postpartum care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
