Responsibilities
- Conduct general patient assessments head-to-toe; recognize complications and initiate appropriate responses
- Understand and implement radiation safety measures when applicable; support procedures in radiology settings
- Explain procedures to patients and family members; address questions and concerns; communicate patient needs with radiologists and team members
- Provide capable clinical decision-making and critical-incident responsiveness; assist with coordinating care across departments
- Support procedural sedation and monitoring as required; maintain patient safety during invasive/interventional procedures
- Manage lines and vascular access (IV insertion, PICC/central line care) and monitor device function; assist with port access/deaccess as needed
- Work cooperatively with the radiology team; participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations; adapt quickly to new environments and multiple responsibilities
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in Missouri
- Relevant experience in interventional radiology or procedural sedation nursing
- Line management skills: IV insertion; PICC/central line management; vascular device access/care
- Cardiac skills: telemetry interpretation; cardioversion/defibrillation capabilities
- Procedural sedation and airway management proficiency
- Availability to cover weekend and weeknight call rotations as part of the assignment

- Weekly pay: $2,330-$2,499 per week
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 5x8 rotating (08:00–16:30)
