Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process within established standards of care
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other staff levels
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patients, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and department policies; apply de-escalation techniques when needed
• Document care accurately; participate in shift handoffs and engage in quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Active RN license (unrestricted) to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation training; active at start date or plan to renew if needed
• Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program; eligible for licensure
• Experience: ER nursing experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department and adapt to a travel assignment

Weekly pay: $2,003–$2,167 per week; guaranteed hours: 36
