Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Poplar, Montana, United States. Start date October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,218–$2,330 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Schedule

Shift: Nights on a 3×12 schedule (overtime for hours over 40).

Housing

No-pets housing available; facility-provided housing billed directly to traveler at approximately $500 per month for most options or $650 for select apartments; rates subject to change; discuss during interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for adults in both Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department settings during night shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; monitor patient status; identify changes and respond appropriately
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care; manage tubes, drains, and ongoing treatments as ordered
• Triage and prioritize care in the ED; collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record; ensure quality and safety standards are met; participate in patient and family education
• Assist with discharge planning and transition of care; participate in unit float as needed to support staffing

Requirements

• Active RN license (professional state license)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MS Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department experience required
• Ability to work nights; readiness to float between units and cover weekends/holidays as needed
