Travel Registered Nurse - CVICU

Role Overview

Provides specialized critical care nursing in the CVICU, managing complex cardiac patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert management of ECMO, Impella, IABP, and VAD devices for cardiogenic shock patients.
• Offers specialized post-operative care for CABG, valve replacement, and transplant patients, including chest tube management.
• Performs precise titration of inotropes and vasopressors based on advanced monitoring data.
• Responds rapidly to emergencies such as cardiac tamponade, arrhythmias, or hemorrhage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license (compact or state-specific), with at least one year of RN experience in acute care.
• Certifications required include BLS and Advanced Life Support within specified timeframes.
• Preferably, candidates have over one year of acute care experience.
