Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,382 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring image accuracy, and providing patient care while working 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the appropriate position
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both yourself and the patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience (some notes indicate 2 years may be required)
• Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state‑specific licensing when required
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
