TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting September 1, 2026 in Plano, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
- Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
- Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position
- Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure both to yourself and to patient by taking appropriate protection precautions
- Calibrate imaging equipment
- Prepare results for Physician to review
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of experience
- Must have BLS
- Must have ARRT (R) National Certification
- Must have state-specific licensing when required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
Qualifications

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Plano, TX. The right Rad Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for the use of diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. Rad Techs are also responsible for preparing and caring for patients undergoing radiologic testing.
