Travel Radiology Technologist - $2,043 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a travel position with a schedule of 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Follow physician orders to determine the area of the patient's body to be imaged
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment as needed
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self by taking appropriate precautions
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
