Setting

Facility setting: Critical Access Hospital with XR/CT imaging responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform XR and CT radiographic procedures per physician orders

• Position patients, prepare exam areas, and optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort and safety

• Operate imaging systems (Siemens Definition Edge, AGFA XR, Siemens Mobilette portable, AGFA portable) and process/transfer images to the PACS

• Apply radiation safety and ALARA principles; verify patient identity and exam requisition; document results per protocol

• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team; respond to on-call needs for strokes and spinal cord compression as required

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography and ARRT CT

• AZ radiology license for Radiography and CT

• XR/CT imaging experience in a clinical setting

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with on-call duties
