Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures (X-ray) following physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, shielding, and infection control per department standards
• Opacify and document imaging work in the charting system (Epic); verify orders and maintain accurate patient records
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform basic quality control to ensure optimal image quality
• Demonstrate the ability to float within the hospital as needed within scope of radiology practice
• Participate in required orientation modules and complete Healthstream training by stated deadlines

Requirements

• New York State license required at time of submission; permanent NY license must be in hand prior to start (temporary licenses not acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years radiology/X-ray experience required
• ARRT certification preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting and float within the department as needed
• Recent references and standard compliance documentation (SSN/DOB, etc.) as requested
