- Travel assignment in a Level II Trauma Center hospital
- First-time travelers accepted; may float across Outpatient, Inpatient, and ED

Responsibilities
- Perform cross-sectional MRI exams (brain, spine, abdomen, extremities) with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Prepare, contrast-manage, and administer appropriate contrast agents; monitor patients during procedures
- Operate MRI equipment, optimize sequences, and implement specialized studies available day shift (e.g., Cardiac MRI, Breast MRI)
- Screens patients for safety, maintain MRI safety protocols, and manage patient comfort and positioning
- Document findings and assist with accurate charting in the Epic system; collaborate with referring clinicians
- Provide coverage across Outpatient, Inpatient, and ED as needed; adapt to varying patient acuity and assistance requirements
- Maintain sterile technique, sanitation, and equipment care; participate in routine department workflow and safety initiatives
Requirements
- Licenses and certifications: Washington state license; ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT; BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year MRI experience required; first-time travelers accepted
- Population experience: Preferred neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents
- General: Ability to work in a hospital MRI setting; comfortable with variable patient assistance levels; strong attention to safety and documentation
- Compliance: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years; locationally traveling candidates only (locals not accepted)
- Availability: Holiday coverage willingness (3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day) if required
- Onboarding: Daily/assignment modules and other onboarding requirements may apply
