Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job

Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $2,957–$3,131 per week

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
• Screens patients for MRI safety, obtains consent, and verifies imaging orders
• Positions patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Administers or prepares contrast materials as directed and monitors the patient during imaging
• Ensures patient comfort and safety, maintains sterile technique, and follows infection control practices
• Maintains image quality, adjusts parameters as needed, and documents procedures in the Epic EMR
• Collaborates with radiologists and support staff; participates in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment

Requirements

• Licenses/ Certifications:
• ARRT or ARMRIT MRI licensure; MR advanced licensure required
• BLS certification
• MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
• Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
• Education: Not specified in job notes
• Additional:
• Must be able to work in a hospital setting as a travel clinician
• Travel notes: no block scheduling; public transportation not accessible; reliable transportation required
• Vehicle readiness with all-season or snow tires during November–April
