Travel Radiology Tech MRI Tech Job

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Screens patients for MRI safety, obtains consent, and verifies imaging orders
- Positions patients and equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administers or prepares contrast materials as directed and monitors the patient during imaging
- Ensures patient comfort and safety, maintains sterile technique, and follows infection control practices
- Maintains image quality, adjusts parameters as needed, and documents procedures in the Epic EMR
- Collaborates with radiologists and support staff; participates in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of MRI equipment
Requirements
- Licenses/ Certifications:
- ARRT or ARMRIT MRI licensure; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification
- MRI Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel assignment experience preferred
- Education: Not specified in job notes
- Additional:
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting as a travel clinician
- Travel notes: no block scheduling; public transportation not accessible; reliable transportation required
- Vehicle readiness with all-season or snow tires during November–April
