Travel Radiology Tech Diagnostic Radiologic Tech Job

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across inpatients, outpatients, OR, fluoroscopy, and portable exams for all age groups
• Prepare and position patients, apply shielding, and follow ALARA principles to ensure image quality and safety
• Operate radiology equipment, adjust exposure factors, and verify image quality; troubleshoot basic equipment issues as needed
• Document procedures and store images in the EMR (EPIC experience preferred) with accurate labeling and workflow communication
• Collaborate with radiology team and OR staff; adapt to varied vendor x-ray systems and maintain vigilance for patient safety during procedures
• Be flexible to float to other sites as needed (not more than one site per day) and participate in weekend coverage as required

Requirements

• ARRT Certification in Radiology and active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (MA license)
• Current AHA BLS certification; flu vaccine required during the season
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule including weekends; must have a valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics

About the role

This is a travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026, for 5 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The shift is an 8x5 rotating schedule. The assignment ends September 12, 2026.
