Radiology Tech – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech travel assignment in Portland, OR. Starts 09/28/2026 for a 13-week engagement at a short‑term acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Operate x‑ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians
• Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time
• Prepare and maintain equipment and examination rooms; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, document exam information, and report important findings to the physician
• Verify completed exams in the PACS system and communicate any concerns to the care team

Requirements

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required for practice in OR
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
• Minimum two years of recent radiologic technology experience
• Ability to work in a short‑term acute care hospital environment and handle imaging procedures as assigned

Pay

Weekly pay: $2,581–$2,746 per week (estimates; final compensation discussed during hiring). Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Schedule

Shift: 4x10‑hour days. Start date: 09/28/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks.
