Responsibilities
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnosis
Perform CT imaging and other modalities as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
Adhere to radiation safety practices and ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
Prepare and position patients, monitor during procedures, and communicate results to radiologists
Ensure high-quality images, proper labeling, and accurate documentation in the patient record
Perform routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and participate in department quality improvement activities
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist licensure and CT certification or state-based eligibility as applicable
- ARRT CT certification or eligible per industry standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Effective communication skills and teamwork in a patient-care setting
- Willingness to participate in travel assignment requirements and protocols
