Responsibilities
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Position patients correctly, select imaging protocols, and ensure high-quality images while minimizing patient exposure.
Adhere to radiation safety practices and maintain proper documentation of procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging and timely results.
Maintain CT equipment and related supplies, report malfunctions, and assist with basic image processing and workflow.
