Travel assignment in Portland, OR starting 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.
About the role
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images and reformats for radiologist interpretation. Perform CT procedures and leverage general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed. Work solo in a travel assignment environment serving adolescent to geriatric populations.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images and reformats for radiologist interpretation
- Perform CT procedures and leverage general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images with accurate patient data
- Maintain patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and document imaging and billing information accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventories
- Collaborate with radiology colleagues to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered imaging services
- Start IVs and work independently
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- ARRT certification in CT (R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R)) required
- Advanced Certification in CT required in OR and HI (preferred in CA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least two years of recent experience in the radiologic field
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Ability to perform imaging procedures and operate CT equipment in a travel assignment setting
Pay
Weekly pay: $2,407–$2,540 with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Schedule
13-week contract on a 5x8 days shift.
