About the role

This hospital-based radiology department position offers a 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days with on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT imaging procedures per department protocols.
• Position patients, adjust exposure settings, and operate imaging equipment.
• Complete exams in the electronic medical record (EMR) and verify images in the PACS system.
• Interview patients, explain procedures, and assist with positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Review images with radiologists or referring physicians and communicate results as appropriate.
• Maintain safe operation of radiographic and CT equipment and adhere to departmental procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned and respond promptly to imaging requests.

Requirements

• Ability to perform radiography and CT imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency with radiographic and CT imaging equipment operation.
• Experience in a radiology department performing imaging studies.
• Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts per week with on-call coverage.
• Strong patient communication, positioning skills, and ability to work in a hospital environment.
• Familiarity with EMR and PACS workflows for documentation and image verification.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,345–$2,444.
