Travel Radiology Tech CT Tech Job

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray examinations; produce radiographs using proper technical factors and evaluate each image for exposure and positioning
• Schedule exams, instruct patients on exam preparations, and set up/organize rooms for radiographic procedures
• Maintain imaging quality and patient safety; adhere to radiation protection standards and documentation procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff; respond to emergencies and adapt to changing clinical needs
• Maintain equipment and records; ensure proper workflow and room turnover between studies

Requirements

• ARRT Registry credential (Education: Graduate with ARRT Registry)
• Ability to perform CT and X-ray procedures
• Physical ability to lift/move patients and maneuver imaging equipment (including handling loads up to 20 pounds) and to work in a dynamic, clinical setting
• Willingness to work a night-shift schedule (3x12s) and to participate in a travel assignment
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
