Responsibilities
Efficiently and accurately perform radiographic and/or CT studies as ordered by the healthcare provider and radiologist
Adhere to Quality Control Standards and all State and Federal regulations; ensure patient safety and image quality
Position patients, operate imaging equipment, apply protective measures, and maintain appropriate documentation for each study
Prepare and assist patients, verify orders, and communicate findings to the radiology team and supervising staff
Cover duties for the Radiology Director during scheduled and unscheduled absences as needed
Maintain clean technique, equipment QC, and regulatory compliance throughout the shift
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license (state-specific) per job notes
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform radiographic and CT imaging studies; familiarity with QC standards and radiation safety
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Experience: experience in radiology and CT imaging in a hospital setting preferred

- Ability to work in a hospital radiology department and participate in a travel assignment schedule
