Travel assignment in a hospital radiology department in Berlin, VT, starting 08/31/2026 for 16 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans following established protocols, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Position patients and adjust scanner parameters, select protocols, and manage contrast administration as per policy
- Establish and maintain IV access when required, monitor for adverse reactions, and document procedures in the EMR
- Adhere to radiation safety principles, perform routine equipment QC checks, and ensure clean, sterile technique
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to fulfill exam requests and communicate results promptly in Epic
- Provide patient care that supports comfort and safety during imaging procedures; respond to patient needs and emergencies as they arise
Requirements
- ARRT CT certification (active) and ARRT CT verification as part of credentialing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years CT imaging experience
- Teaching facility experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work evenings and comply with a 4x10-hour shift schedule
- Reliable clinical history documentation and ability to explain procedures to patients
Note: Reliable transportation is recommended as public transit is not accessible in the area.
Pay
Weekly pay ranges from $3,413 to $3,438.
