Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures using a Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
- Position patients, instruct and prepare them for procedures, and determine technical exposure factors
- Accurately label and mark all films; maintain image quality and patient safety
- Deliver safe, quality patient care and adhere to established hospital procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage as required and communicate findings promptly
- Maintain clean, organized work area and operate related radiology equipment and computer systems
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (registered)
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; two years of diagnostic radiology experience desirable
- Physical ability to perform required tasks (lifting up to 40 pounds, moving loads, overhead reaching, and assisting with patient transfers)
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department
