CT Technologist (Radiology Tech) – Travel assignment in York, Maine. Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams following protocol, ensuring accurate patient positioning and proper protocol selection
- Operate CT equipment, optimize image quality, monitor patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles
- Administer and manage contrast if required, observing patient preparation and monitoring for adverse reactions
- Support X-ray services as needed at various locations, including patient registrations and basic clerical duties to assist walk-in teams
- Document procedures, complete required timekeeping accurately, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine quality checks, and participate in safety and infection control practices
Requirements
- ARRT Registered in Radiography with CT certification
- Maine RT Licensure
- BLS Certification
- CT imaging experience required
- Ability to work across multiple locations within the network and adapt to changing shift patterns
- Flexibility to cover day and overnight shifts; willingness to perform registration/clerical duties at off-site locations as needed
