About the role
A Radiologic Technologist position is available in Wisconsin at a facility located in Hartford. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-ray imaging, within a busy trauma and stroke center. The technologist will support various departments and utilize diverse imaging equipment, including work across the emergency room, operating room, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-ray imaging.
- Work a weekend rotation schedule with 12-hour shifts starting early in the morning.
- Support multiple hospital areas, including the emergency room, operating room, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
- Utilize and operate diverse imaging equipment, including GE OEC C-arm and McKesson PACS.
- Use the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Requirements
- 2 years of acute care experience.
- Wisconsin state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT certification.
- Experience with OR imaging and EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Experience with GE OEC C-arm preferred; O-arm Medtronic experience not required but can be learned.
- McKesson PACS experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluoroscopy experience desired but not mandatory.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Shift start time around 0700/0730 with end times approximately 1930/2000.
- Orientation includes 2-3 shifts within the department during weekdays.
Weekend rotation schedule cycle as specified by the facility.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
