Travel Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray - $2,126 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience, including OR experience, for a weekend-inclusive role with an on-call rotation at a regional hospital in Petoskey, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs under the supervision of a radiologist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in diagnostic imaging.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in on-call schedule as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray experience required.
• OR (operating room) experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• ARRT certification required; a copy must be included for consideration.
• BLS certification required (AHA only); must be willing to obtain prior to start.
• Michigan state license required if applicable.
• Must be a travel candidate (not a current full-time employee of the facility within the past six months).

Qualifications

• Skills checklist completed within the past year is preferred but not required for non-nursing professions.
• References are not required for consideration.
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
