Travel Radiation Therapist - $479 per week

About the role

LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Iowa.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Successfully completed an accredited program in radiation therapy.
• Knowledge of radiation physics, dosimetry, and radiation oncology principles.

Skills

• Proficient in using radiation therapy equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 7 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hours per day, 7 days a week.
