Travel Radiation Therapist - $3,033 per week

Travel Radiation Therapist position in Hagerstown, Maryland. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Immediate start. Requires at least one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X‑rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (T) National Certification (ARRT (R) also referenced)
• State licensure may be required
• Ability to stand for long periods, work precisely with complex equipment, and provide compassionate care in emotionally sensitive situations
